Equipment requisition
|
| |
A letter typed on the requesting company's business stationary and signed
by an authorized person should include the following:
A) Project name.
B) Shooting dates.
C) Equipment and material requested.
D) Name of the person responsible for equipment pick up.
E) Place and location (map enclosed).
F) Production start time.
G) Billing specifications and invoicing data. |

Electronic quotes and equipment requests
|

The electronic quote and/or equipment request is only an estimate of the
final cost.
This is only an estimate, the final costs must be established once the equipment
is returned and in conformity to "equipment & film design s.a. de c.v."
and the leaseholder.
Every electronic quote and/or equipment request is subject to inspection
and changes from the quoting department.
No electronic quote and/or equipment request has fiscal value, and does
not imply any obligation from "equipment & film design s.a. de c.v."
Sending the request does not imply a obligation from "equipment & film design
s.a. de c.v." to reserve the equipment, and it is subject to availability
from the programming department.
Every electronic request must be confirmed by "equipment & film design s.a.
de c.v." in order to reserve the equipment the required days. |

Single equipment rental conditions
|
| |
If single equipment (filters, lights and grip) is available, the petitioner
company may pick it up the day before anytime between 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
All equipment must be returned on the established date, on time and in good
condition; deadlines are set at 10:00 pm of the same day or before 10:00
am of next day, otherwise, a full day´s rent will be charged. |

Packages rental conditions
|
| |
Camera, mobiles and generators may be picked up at 5:00 am the day they
will be used and should be returned at 4:00 am of the last day of shooting.
|
|
|
|
Cancellations
|
| |
Should any cancellations occur, we must be notified 24 hours before equipment
pick up otherwise, a 50% change of the total amount will be paid without
any exceptions. |
|
|
|
Payment conditions
|
| |
A) When 50% of the total amount is paid after equipment requisition is confirmed,
"equipment & film design s.a de c.v." will grant a 30 day calendar grace
period to cover the remaining amount after filming is over.
B) When no payment is made after equipment requisition is confirmed, "equipment
& film design s.a de c.v." will grant a 15 day calendar grace period to
cover all costs after filming is over.
C) Discounts can be negotiated when payments are totally covered in advance.
D) Any services, rental or sales which add up to less than $200.00 (two
hundred dollars 00/100) must be paid in advance without any exceptions.
E) All delinquent customers will need to pay in advance when future services
are requested. |

Insurance
|
| |
10% of the total rental amount will be added to the invoice as an insurance
payment fee in order to cover the equipment value whenever the customer
doesn't provide an insurance of their own.
However, if the customer does not agree with these conditions, he should
then, provide a copy of his insurance policy duly endorsed to the name of
"equipment & film design s.a de c.v." that policy must cover the total commercial
replacement value of the equipment rented at the moment of the accident
and should also cover possible losses (dead times, consequential losses).
In both cases, the deductibles must be covered by the requesting company.
"Equipment & film design s.a de c.v." insurance does not cover vehicles,
freights, broken or burnted out lamps.
In case of theft, robbery, loss or major damages, the requesting company
is obliged to testify at the closest "ministerio pĪblico" (public ministery),
and ask for a legal document which notifies said mishap in order to proceed
with our insurance coverage claim. If no documents are presented to us,
the requesting company is obliged to cover the cost of the equipment and
materials.
In case of theft, either partial or total loss, accident or damage of radios
and walkies talkies (they are not covered by our insurance policy), the
hiring company will be responsible for all the risks mentioned above. In
any of these cases the rental charge of the radios will continue until the
unit(s) are replaced or paid in full.
$15.00 (fifteen dollars 00/100) will be charged for camera, mobile, generator
or galaxy crane truck insurance. |

Responsibilities
|
| |
It is the customer´s responsibility to check the equipment rented
when picked up. "equipment & film design s.a de c.v." will check it when
returned.
Damages or losses will be charged to the project in which they ocurred.
It is "equipment & film design s.a de c.v." responsibility to replace or
substitute any equipment or material for its equivalent as soon as possible
depending on its availability; replacement expenses will be covered by the
requesting company.
"equipment & film design s.a de c.v." won't
be responsible for delays, problems or damages caused to the filming regarding
any of our equipments, material, transportation or personnel involved.
Technician´s insurance and expenses are not included in the price
list and they are responsibility of the hiring company. |

Transportation and tolls
|
| |
$0.50 dollar (50/100 USD) will be charged per kilometer when vehicles are
driven out of the city.
Tolls, diesel, oil and gas expenses are not included and will be covered
by the customer.
It is important to acknowledge that our vehicles will not travel by night
under any circumstances what so ever. |

|
Generator fuel cost
|
| |
An additional charge of $160.00 (one hundred sixty dollars 00/100) will
be added for the first 10 hours of use of generator fuel.
Each extra hour (over time) will be charged at $35.00 (thirty five dollars
00/100). |
|
|
|
Per diems
|
| |
Technician´s salaries, overtime, per diems, hotel rates, air or ground
transportation are responsibility of the hiring company. |
|
|
|
Equipment damages
|
| |
Burnt out or broken lamps, deformed or smoked lamps, repairs, spare parts
and damages, will be charged to the project in which they ocurred. |
|
|
|
Taxes
|
| |
Mexico's state and interstate tax will be 15% on total amounts. Tax
is not included in prices. |
|
|
|
Comments
|
| |
Prices may change without previous notice. |

s.a de c.v." will assume that all the foresaid points have been
clearly understood and accepted by the customers when requesting
future services.
